More bidders per impression
AdX competes with Open Bidding and header bidding partners in the same auction, so more buyers compete for each impression.
Google Ad Exchange (AdX) is the programmatic marketplace inside Google Ad Manager. Most publishers reach it through a Multiple Customer Management (MCM) partner. VisualAds is one — and the whole process is self-service.
Google Ad Exchange (AdX) is Google’s real-time marketplace where advertisers and agencies — buying through Google Ads, Display & Video 360 and other platforms — bid for individual impressions. It is part of Google Ad Manager, Google’s ad server for publishers.
Google does not offer AdX as an open sign-up the way it offers AdSense. Publishers get access either through their own Google Ad Manager account with AdX approval — typically large publishers — or through a Google-approved partner in the Multiple Customer Management (MCM) program.
In MCM, the partner (the “parent”) serves and manages ads on behalf of the publisher (the “child”). The relationship starts with an invitation from Google Ad Manager that the publisher accepts, so Google knows exactly who owns the inventory. Google pays the parent, and the parent pays the publisher.
No sales call and no minimum commitment.
Name, email and a password. It is free.
Submit each property for review from your dashboard.
A person reviews each submission within 24 hours.
On approval you receive the MCM invitation. Accept it to connect your inventory.
Add the ads.txt or app-ads.txt lines shown in your dashboard, create ad units and get paid.
An MCM partner should add more than a login. Here is what VisualAds adds.

An MCM partner does not change Google’s rules. Your content and traffic must follow the Google Publisher Policies, and invalid traffic — accidental clicks, bots, paid or incentivized visits — is filtered out and not paid.
Your dashboard’s Policy center lists any issue reported on your apps or sites, so you can fix it and reply from the same place. For the day-to-day levers that raise revenue once you are live, read our ad revenue optimization guide.
